Charette borrows from the French term
for the architectural sketch problem used
to develop solutions to a design problem
within a limited time frame.

Louis and Caren have provided these
on-site brainstorming sessions where
client, architect and landscape architect
work together to illuminate a full gamut
of project possibilities. From Nashville
to Green Bay; from Bungalow, Ranch,
Cottage to master plan and multi-use; we
have generated the preliminary analysis,
programming and design options that
enable clients to make that next step in
realizing their project’s greatest
potential.

Preparation maximizes the productive
Charette effort. Available plans,
surveys, zoning or deed restriction

information should be collected. Digital
photos assist in exterior schematics.

Caren and Louis walk the site and
structures; commenting on existing and
potential structural, maintenance and
functional impacts. Schematic drawings
generated on the site test the clients
initial program and these residential and
master planning experts generate viable
options. Our facility to "think on
paper" clarifies a projects potential
and enables clients to proceed to the
next step with their own contractor,
design-build firm or with Louis
Wasserman and Associates.
